I will walk more slowly
I will hold your hand
I won’t rush these moments
Even when my day seems to have no end

I will let you learn
I will let you explore
I will let you be as you are

I will love you and guide you
Through every challenge
And celebrate you
When all is well

My child, you are a treasure
A precious gift
You teach me more than a thousand books
And are worth more than all riches

You fill my world with such joy
I only hope I can give back a glimmer of what you have given me
Thank you for giving me the best gift in the world-
I get to be your mommy
